Working as a Technical Advisor Training Manager for Manor Adventure
Manor Adventure are an industry leading residential outdoor activity provider. We have been able to become an Employer of Choice through our focus on the quality of the educational sessions we offer, as well as our commitment to the training and development of our staff. We are now seeking a Training Manager/Internal Technical Advisor to assist each Centre's Head of Centre and Activity Manager with regard to the maintenance of their Instructional staff.
As a Technical Advisor Training Manager you will be responsible for:
As a member of the Senior Management Team the Head of Training/Internal Technical Advisor will report directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for organising and delivering training to the instructor team as well as ensuring that NGB guidelines are being followed in line with best practice and company standard operating procedures. This is a full-time demanding role which would require extensive travel to/from our six centres. A suitable vehicle will be provided for such use along with accommodation and food at the centres when visiting. The position would suit candidates with a wide knowledge of the outdoor industry in a residential environment operating within the commercial sector.
What experience or qualifications do you need:
Applicants must have a working knowledge of AALS and LOTC inspection regimes. Along with the following qualifications
- MCI/WMCI - Essential
- MTCP - Desirable
- Paddle sport Instructor provider - Desirable
- FSRT provider - Desirable
- Sheltered water SUP provider - Desirable
- PPE Inspector - Desirable
- ERCA Generic Rescuer - Desirable
