The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and experienced individual who has a passion for outdoor education, coupled with strong leadership skills. They will also possess strong managerial ability and experience of strategy formulation, together with performance management, ideally gained within a business environment.
The Head of Centre is responsible for the overall efficient running of the Centre. This includes managing and motivating centre staff, ensuring government regulations are adhered to, ensuring the highest possible safety standards at all times, planning to meet recruitment requirements and ensuring appropriate training is carried out.
* Experience gained in a similar role or business environment
* Strong leadership capabilities
* Advanced communication, strong administrative and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of performance management and strategy formulation
The Head of Centre will be appointed on a long term basis in order to develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders. This is vital to the role of Head of Centre.
